we have had an influx of idiot people in the shop today, ranging from a woman who spent ages disagreeing with a member of staff that what she had in her hand wasnt lilac (syringia) because it was white, "if its not lilac in colour, it can't be lilac". Followed an hour later by a woman who pointed at a huge handtied bouquet with roses and lilies and asked how much it was, when we told her it was £30 she replied deep intake of breath "oh, I only wanted to spend £10". AAARRRGGGHHHH!!! Followed a while later by the old woman who comes every saturday and goes through my bucket of spray carnations bunch by bunch picking which one has more heads than any other, she's the same woman who spent 20 mins counting how many berrries were on each bunch of mistletoe we sold at christmas. Its a good job I love my job but sometimes....... !
