Just thought of something else. Look carefully at any xmas decs that you can 'break down' into nice small pieces to add to arrangements. They might seem pricey at the time but work out ok per section. Things like berrried garlands or look out for packs of 'sugar' effect fruit, they make classy looking wreaths.
