Hallo I´m from Denmark, so please excuse my poor english.

When i think gothic, I must admit, that I think dark collors.
but I also think that lillium have the perfect shape for gothic.

since I´m skandinavien, my style may be different from yours in the Uk.
we use a lot of "mother nature"
Have you considered using "twigs" from trees. perhabs from an old appletree.
It has a very nice dark collor, and a good "rustik" surface.
gothic era was known for it´s way of reaching for the sky.
