I used to work in a music shop (the type that sells clarinets, not the type that sells records) and we got all the nutters in there too. They seem to like shops where there's interesting, unusual stuff to look at and touch...

We had a bloke in this week asking if the dutchman would sell to him (lorry was outside at the time). He said we didn't have what he wanted, but he'd seen it on the lorry and wondered if he could get it from there. Bloody cheek! Boss said she gets it all the time as well! Just don't understand how they think we make any money and stay open at all. Like we're gonna say 'oh yeah, sure! We don't mind if you cut out the middle man and buy direct from our (trade-only) supplier right in front of our shop!'
