I had one yesterday, she said that all her flowers had died. So i went out to pick it up to take back to the shop and replace it. The roses had drooped but everything else was fine. Wasnt until i got back to the shop that i discovered that the water in the vase was warm!!
Replaced it for her anyway and gave her a small bunch just to say sorry. She was nice enough about it, not a biatch or anything... but had to hold my tongue and not call her a silly so and so about the warm water!
