Just keep it clean, it will last ages but it may start to get wiffy after a while..We had one bag left over from Xmas 06 and it was fine but it hadn’t been opened so seal it up the wetness in the moss will keep it damp. But mind we can buy sterile spag moss for our lizards and I just keep wetting it and it perks up fine...
