Personally I think the old logo is more instantly recognizable but either way you should be ok. I have etched you a basic outline which should be ok. If you block the colours and try to find some fine wired gold/silver cord you could pick out all the detail with that in the same way as the numbers on the dart board. The ROVER will also transpose well using the cord.
To keep it in true proportion and fit it on an A3 size board it will end up quite small but Personally as with all these things proportion is the key.
I have tried to find a way to email you the etch at A3 size but haven't cracked it yet
