I have been giving this some thought for a long time and have been really helped by your comments etc. THANK YOU
As much as I loved the "F" in flowers idea and we had a great laugh with it for a few days I have decided to just tweak what I have. It was a bit of a scary prospect changing the name completely as the shop is so well established and I'm the first to say "if it ain't broke ....... don't fix it".
I wanted something that would bring it up to date a bit and make it "work" for me online as well as in print.
I am working on creating a proper logo today (this will be fun as I have only just learnt about graphic design formats and the word VECTOR meant some thing completely different yesterday!).
Any way I have decided to rebrand all my stationary and tweak the name to:
jennifleurs.co.uk
for flowers Colchester
When I have worked out my new logo I will post it for some feedback.

Treen, since we're negotiating

I suggest instead of "for flowers Colchester" which, with your url, makes you look like you maybe only be a virtual shop, if you use "Colchester Flower Shop" it will "place" you in Colchester in the consumers mind and remove doubt that you are a real shop in Colchester (maybe I'm getting too jaded by all of the OG's on the net).
jennifleurs.co.uk
Colchester Flower Shop
or maybe
jennifleurs.co.uk
Your Flower Shop in Colchester
Anyway, JMO. Rock on....................
