Hi belinda,

When i was learning i found the easiest things to use were roses and carnations, i know a bit boring but easy to make stay where they are put.

Callas are quite expensive at least £2 per stem and that would probably be smaller ones with very thin stems so i would keep away from them as if the stems are thin they have a tendency to break when tying them in a h/t, and as you are tying each stem in i dont think its a good idea.

Years ago there used to be a h/t in interflora called the princess if i remember rightly, it contained roses, cars, spray cars, gyp, buplerum, and foliage, and i used to make that over and over to get practise.
