In the Tropical dome it was very warm the higher up you went but then when you get to the top of the dome the water fall is running so fast it has a really cool breeze coming off it absolutely fab, but then as you walk down you suddenly hit the warm air and wanna turn back - but you keep going and then as you leave the door opens and the cool air hits you and it's set you up for the rest of it.
the Core is aimed more to the kids - my hubby had a wail of a time - there is a construction that you close and drawer and another one opens automatically - you cna never close all the drawers, and a huge machine that has lots of cogs and wheels and a huge concrete ball that takes quite a few minutes and a lot of handle turning and all it does is --------- crack a Hazelnut - Bri (hubby) stood there for 10 mins watching it while all the little kids turned the handle next to it is a similar machine that moves a metal ball up and down.
anyway spoiling it for you.
there is a thing the kids can do they get a trail to follow and there are machines to stamp the questions they answer all around the place to get them to look for stuff - Bri sulked cos he didn't get to do it
