Realistically for me,i stock very few carnations(once upon a time i could go through a double case of carnations a week"750-800 of the little columbian darlings")not sure if it was me or just a customer change, but there doesn't seem to be the demand for em anymore(other than peaks i stock maybe 100 a week, tops!!!) they still, even when buying limited quantities(box price was ridiculously cheap)are cheap for me to buy,i dont buy lesser grades"on anything ever" and if its a good price to me and i sell it to my customers(and they keep coming back"most important")....As long as my margins stay steady there willl be no hike in any flowers price...but everything is up for review,should the need arise.
