I currently have two shops and it is hard work. The good thing about having two shops is that you can move stock between both easily. We have only one set of books, so your not having to invoice between them both. The downfall side to it is accounting becomes more of a nightmare. We have two lots of good staff who are flexible and they need to be. Another downside to it all this is that we hardly see each other and have even less time for the kids who are nearly 18 and 14.
My personal opinion is that I would stick with the one shop. Could you relocate to a bigger premises or extend your existing shop if so that is what i would look at.
As others have said have a long think about it. There are more negatives than positives as I see it.
