Blimey, how did this post suddenly get dug up from the archives, impressive search work!
I can see where you are coming from Carrington, but looking at the original post I get the impression that Sosas was told that she would be getting the plants delivered... then a few days later she was sent the email, which for her would have been totally unexpected because as far as she was aware, all was ok.
So, in reality that would be like a customer ringing up and saying I'm buying some flowers from a supermarket can you gift wrap them for me, and me saying yes, then when they bring the flowers in I change my mind.
I'm sure most of us can understand suppliers getting cheesed off with customers who order out of the blue every now and then but I think this situation was due to a lack of communication. Perhaps the person sosas spoke to didn't pass on the message that they had agreed to deliver so when she sent through the order the person who picked it up probably thought cheeky mare. To me, it looks like a case of simple misunderstanding. The email they sent was harsh, but I doubt they would have replied in such a manner had they known one of their staff had already agreed to deliver the plants. Well, I'd like to think they wouldn't!
