In england i know that you cant pick wild flowers not 100% sure why i think they have a preservation on them. Not sure about Ireland.

I dont know of a way to preserve them, dont think its entirely possible, Blue bells arent going to be around in August.

Your best bet would be to either use silk flowers or to buy when you are in england. Sorry if thats not very helpful
