Hi, you can't charge VAT unless you're VAT registered but obviously you'll pay it on the cost of the flowers.
I think there's various ways of working out costings - I've learnt one way at college and shown another through a florist friend.
Presumably you've not done wedding work before?? Have you other experience? Its a big commitment especially if doing for a friend. Good luck
