Oohhh I lurv this floristnews you get to whinge about stuff with like minded people. I tell parents of touchy feely kids that some of the flowers could be toxic and it is best if they get them to lick their fingers straightaway, if they keel over then it was poisonous and the local A & E is 10 minutes away! I always pounce on 'touchers' straightaway and offer my assistance, particularly when I see them heading towards the exotics. I will also admit to uttering 'Nans' fantastic line when a customer came in the other day and complained that my roses were more expensive than M & S's, obviously not to her face - well not quite
