That's interesting Tod. I'd always thought it was the other way round, i.e. taking all the leaves off so that the flower head has full claim on all the water and food in the stem. It would be good to have a growers input on this as it's quite an important process...getting it right when you really need something in a hurry..I'd never really looked into it, just thought it was the right thing to do.
