Absolutely correct Jake, but what i was simply saying was...you can be a company and trade as another name, as long as your correspondence etc clearly shows your limited status.....
e.g. my company was Haslemere flowers Ltd
I just traded as 'haslemere Flowers'
I didn't have the 'ltd' bit on my shop front or on the van
