I close at 1pm on a wednesday because its half day closing in the town, and although the supermarkets are open all the small shops are shut so theres no point in being there, the town goes dead. does your town have a half day closing? I dont think you would loose many customers, maybe the odd one but all your regulars will get to know you are closed that day. i also close 2pm satuday cause the town goes dead after lunch and i dont like working saturdays anyway lol
