Yes it happens. One of my girls was done when someone snuk in through the back door, found her handbag and then phoned up claiming to be the police. "we've caught them with your handbag and credit cards..no need to worry but we need to put a stop on all your cards just in case...can you tell us your pin numbers....in a panic ...she did.....£800 later the penny dropped
