Hi Sarah
Thanks for the tips - yes the current owner and we are keen for a handover period which will be staged over several weeks with him taking us through everything. We're lucky in that the owner is very committed in helping us make a go of it. We are going on the next IF course - will be booking that very soon, just completing all the change over paperwork at the mo! Thanks! ![]() |

Thanks everyone! Just a few questions about legal issues... anyone got any tips on these?
We have 3 aspects to draw up: 1. purchase agreement, 2. partnership agreement between my friend and I and 3. lease agreement for the property. We did think about having the solicitor do all 3 but that works out at a lot of money now that we have their quote, some people have said its cheaper to get the accountant to do the partnership agreement with our input and also the purchase agreement and just get the solicitor to sort out the lease terms. Any ideas for/against? Thanks! |

I got the solicitor to do all mine they are the experts, they are expensive but you know its all done properly then. It could work with the accountant they should know what they are talking about too
