Am I mad? Hello!
Hi All

I've just joined - looked at this site before, but now I'm taking the plunge to buy a shop with a friend. I do feel I'm mad at times as I have a 'comfy' job with a good salary etc.

BUT...

I've missed the flowers so much, and the opportunity of a lifetime has come up to buy an established shop nearby. So my old schoolfriend and I (also a florist) are going for it... after all you only live once.

It all starts from October hopefully (depending on solicitors)

Feel free to say I'm barking...!

Thanks for the admiration - my friend and I are very scared but excited! Neither of us could've done it alone so hopefully between us we can make it a success.

I can't say where it is (hence my anonymous location) as its still up in the air and not common knowledge. But once it is official and gone through ok I will reveal all (so to speak!)

We're buying an Interflora shop...

Oh well, nice to have some fellow company then

Its the great unknown - but we've both worked in busy shops, my friend is a superb florist and my specialism is marketing so hopefully we can make a go of it (she says holding her breath)
