Hi from Wirral
Hi everyone,
I found you by reading an article in the Florist Wholesale Buyer Mag. I wish I had know about you before. Running a florist shop isn't what it used to be. It's very hard work with the massive competition from Supermarkets and online companies. It's reassuring to know that I am not alone struggling to give the customers a good product at a reasonable price. The only complaint that I have about the site is that it's a bit addictive! It's the middle of the night here. I woke to go to the bathroom but before going back to bed I couldn't help but come and have a look to see what's new. Thanks for opening my world.

Hi Potty I am mid-wirral but would be happy to deliver to the other side of the river to your family. I am in the process of sorting a web site out and if I ever get a day off I will do it. Thinking about work I had better go and scrub my buckets before customers start arriving. All the best. ps I adore your work.

Wirral Flowers
Potty was it Wirral Flowers? My bank is in Heswall, the nearest "town" to my shop. Our "village" where the shop is located has about 5 houses and 3 farms my nearest neighbours here are cows!

No I didn’t know him. I bought his wooden display unit that he had in his window when he was closing down. He was an interflora florist and it was about the time that all the longstanding members got a big cash handout in return for their share of the business. Don't know if that influenced him. You are right it was a popular florist shop, think it’s a dress shop now. I don't know what his girls are doing. Unfortunately it often happens like that, when the owners decide to go the decision is made in a hurry. It's not just florists.

There are two other established florists near by, Earth and William and Benjamin (which used to be All Seasons). With a Tesco up the road and now Marks and Sparks has opened on the main road, both selling flowers and plants. With the high rents and the competition it's probably put people off.
