New to florist news.....brilliant site. Spent all morning reading posts and replying to a few!

Little 'bout me. 3 year floristry apprentice back in 1971 (oh how things were different then, breaking the ice on buckets of water to 'moss up' frames). Moved to local florist for more money when i finished my slave labour. Now freelance....just do what I fancy/interests me. Old person who loves all the wonderful designs and flower choices that are available now.

Hi Kar. you are just up the road from me, and I have been a florist for 28 years, I remember cracking the ice on the water butt outside to get water for the flowers, and using freezing cold moss to use on the metal frames.....ahhhhh those were the days!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
