Hello everybody. I am getting married in August 2008. I am planning on arranging the flowers myself and purchasing the flowers through flowers4florists.com. Has anyone had any dealings with them? Are they any good on service and quality? OR should I avoid them with all cost?

Hi and welcome,
Are you a florist or a trainee florist? You are very brave, sorry I have no experience off flowers4florists, but good luck with it all. Bel |

sorry virgin couldn't comment but believe you would get a better deal from going directly to your local florist as for doing your flowers yourself i would remind you do you really want the added pressure on sorting your flowers out on such a special day where you should be relaxed and excited not worrying about your flowers......
be careful at least if you do go ahead and do your own flowers you can purchase from your local florist example flowers so you can have a go first ...and know the quality is going to be great on the atuall day you are getting married..... hope that helps.... p.s. i had been a florist for 10 years and i didn't do my own bouquet i designed it and got my boss at the time to do it i trusted her and wow it was amazing good luck for your special day ![]() |

Hi Virginbride,
This is what i'd recommend if you wanted something nice and easy to do yourself. You could have a bouquet of all carnations and Gyp maybe with a bit of asparagus fern to finish it off nicely, for the bridesmaids little posys of spray carnations and gyp, I've seen a lovely shade of peach recently that would look just devine with any colour scheme. Hey and just as a little after thought to follow the theme how about some Gyp in yours and the bridesmaids hair? oh and don't forget to put some on the grooms button hole. ![]() |

On another note I agree with what has been said, you really would be better off leaving the stress of the flowers to a professional florist...
