Thank you to you all for the welcome messages. Thought I would tell you about my latest project fo Goodie. We bought a programme for about £25 this was downloaded from the internet called "INALBUM" it creates great flash slideshows, I then used it to create a wedding and corporate slideshow dvd and then made a batch of each then sent them to brides and the corporate ones to business's. We also bought a tv with built in dvd player and have these disc's playing in the shop. Its good to put all your unusual designs on and people get to see them in the shop. We added music to them for the shop, so you get nice background music playing at the same time, just set it to "REPEAT" and it will play over and over all day. Hope this gives some of you an idea!!!

thats a really nice idea, goodie you are so lucky!! i have not got shutters on my shop otherwise i would love something like that but unfortunately the thieving gits round here would smash and grab.

Hi Julie, welcome to the madhouse!!!!

I have a program on my laptop that does the same thing! We created a DVD of wedding bouquets and other wedding flowers which we played at a Wedding Fair recently, and surprisingly got three wedding bookings.

Don't want to be the voice of doom but you do have a tv licence for the shop don't you? Even though you are just playing a DVD you still have to have a licence. I speak from experience!!!!!

They told me in the shop where we bought the tv that we did not need a licence if we were not connecting it to an aeriel. Have they lied to me!! mind you I did get the tv from Toys R us so I expect they dont really know. Thanks for the info, best I make a phone call.
