Hello need your advice
Hiya i am getting married this christmas but need your ideas. I want white Amaryllis handtied. For bridesmaid what are your honest opinions on a single stem of Amaryllis? And i have seen dwarf Amaryllis on internet. How big are these? Will they be too big for buttonholes and corsages? Any other ideas welcome.

Thanks for your replies. I do have a florist in mind but have only spoke to her once.she was very helpful but as i have no idea what i want she has said to look at pictures to get ideas and i thought this would be good place to get your suggestions. I know i definately want Amaryllis but other than that not sure. Don't want alot of foliage and dont want lots of different types of flowers. Is anyone near Perth? Please any suggestions would be great

As its not too far away your wedding i would look in your area asap for an available florist who could give you ideas for your wedding, as some florist wont entertain taking a wedding order on the build up to xmas

Hi ang, just to clarify what this site is all about , and why you wont get direct help with your wedding flowers ! This site is made up of Florist shop owners, students learning the trade and self employed florists mostly ( and anyone in the trade) To give advise on this subject, could be seen as doing our fellow florist colleagues out of business !! or giving FREE ideas when such knowledge and skills are part of their everyday profit/living !! For picture ideas there is a lovely book for sale in wh smiths at the moment £12.50 i think, has many pics in. Take your pic to a local florist, who like all of us on this site have to make a living from wedding work...... Good luck and have a lovely wedding day !!

I apologise, i have misunderstood the point in this site. I am not trying to steal peoples ideas for free or do anyone out of a living. I am completely overwhelmed by how many flower are out there&simply asked for a opinion.
