Hello, new person
Hello everyone, just stumbled across this forum today, and thought I'd say hi!

I'm pretty new to the floristry world, 3 weeks off finishing my C&G level2, but absolutley loving it. Would love to continue studying, but think it would be best to get some real hands on experience so trying to find myself a junior position in a shop and finding it pretty hard - any advice?

Hi Zahra, welcome Good luck in finding a job; probably best to go in to shops and introduce yourself rather than sending in a CV. Also I know jobs get advertised on Gumtree (the London edition does anyway) - where are you based?

I'm in Norfolk, I think I must have written to nearly every shop in the county!! You're probably right, think it's time to go and visit them in person.

Thanks for the warm welcome everyone

I would love to do a full time course, but that just isn't possible, I need to earn a living somehow. I would love to do an apprenticeship, but alas I am too old

Like I said I think my next tep is to go and say hi, to all my local florists, I am willing to do a bit of voluntary work to get some experience. I'll just have to see what happens and keep my fingers crossed
