Well, I hope to. If I'm successful with the apprenticeship then it will be 1 day a week at the college. If I'm not then hopefully I might be allowed on the course in September anyway. Have you been or are you at Easton College?

Thanks fly2hi.

20's a weird age anyway. 21's the official 'adult' age and yet I'm no longer a teenager. Feels like no man's land!

Talking Dont do it Alice

Dont do it Alice the pays rotten and its f*****g cold in the winter thats not to mention the green hands and dirt under your finger nails!!!
BUT... if you cant resist the call of the flowers just remember that collage is fine as long as it is backed up with good old fashiond hands on experiance from the bottom up and that means washing out vases and sweeping out workrooms....But when you do a job well and make the perfect funeral piece as some ones last gift to there loved one it makes it all worth while.. Good luck Alice!...P.S excuse the spelling but every one knows that florists cant spell its the artist in them. This is my first posting so hello to everyone .

Hi Maggie and Goodie! Thanks for the welcomes.

Noooo, I'm not put off at all. All I'm doing now is boring dead-end office work so I don't feel I have much to lose even if it turns out I don't like floristry!

No, I did my level 2 as an evening class. I would love to go there and do level 3, but think I need some hands on experience first, hence looking for a job.

Good luck with your apprenticeship application

Thanks. Maybe an evening class would be a good option for me if I don't get the apprenticeship. Hmm!
