Hello Tiger lilys

We have a website that you can't order on at the moment, it gets reasonable traffic and people seem to mainly use it for the wedding side, we have lots of photos of past weddings on it. At the peaks we put a price list up on the gifts pages and get a few phone or email orders off it. We just signed up with FloristPro today www.floristpro.co.uk, the site will take a couple of weeks to build but once it's up it will be a proper webshop, will let you know how it goes! I think having an online ordering facility is really important, I analysed our relay orders at MD and VD and over 70% were web orders and some of them were our local customers that the relay co had stolen....

We are Interflora, I am happy with the volume of orders we get from them, there's generally something every day from them.

The FloristPro thing is a subscription service, you pay monthly for it, nothing up front, they make a template shop for you and you have to fill it with all your own lovely products so you will need a digital camera and some photo editing software too. Oh, and you need to be able to process credit cards on a card holder not present basis.

i was told by flowergram that i would be getting more not less orders so im not that happy with them at all at the min ..
i used to be with teleflorist years ago and i was happy with them, but i wouldnt really say i got any more orders than i have with flowergram.

Why dont you try florist2florist. Its not that much to join, and nobody on here seems to have had any problems with them.

I used to get about 3 orders a week from flowergram headoffice, but since resigning, (i have to be with them for 3 months notice) ive had none off them.

what i have done in the past is had business cards printed with discounts on.

Sent letters to various companies with the business cards in, and hey presto,

The last contract i had from that spends about 200 a month!!

If its a very regular company then i dont charge for the use of the vase, and i more or less put the actual flower value in the arrangement and dont charge make up time.

But i wouldnt go for cheap vases. Usually companies want expensive looks, and if you pay a bit for the vase it will get you something nice, and hopefully they will give you repeat business.
And at the end of the day, they do give the vase back.
