hello im new to this , saw this on the net and gave it ago ... i have a florist and i will be having a web site soon .

wanted to know as well do u get a lot of trade out of it , or is it best to use a web site to just get your name out there ...

im a flowergram memeber as well and not had that many orders from them from the time thay have moved in with fd.

has anyone had the same prob ...

My website has only been live for a couple of weeks so I can't answer your question only to say I think its pretty important to have some sort of internet presence in this day and age.
With regards to FG and FD, im not a member of either but there are plenty who are and MORE then willing to give you their thoughts!!!

ok thanx , do you have a bit where u can buy flowers on there .. ie like pay by pay pal or card ..

as for the fg and fd i have chatted to a few people on the phone and thay are having the same prob as me ..

im with flowergram till 15th aug because ive had nothing since the swap over so i resigned.

i have a website too, i dont get many orders from it but a lot of my customers look at it and see what we do, i think its worth it though.

no I don't but a couple of people so have really lovely sites. Umm, think elouise and leila have got sites with paypal? sure they'll find your post in the min!

i have had about 2 orders from them so far this month .. i have been thinking of going to tel florist do you know if thay are any good ..

i was told by flowergram that i would be getting more not less orders so im not that happy with them at all at the min ..

Hi Tiger Lily,

I've had a site up for years and get loads of visitors (over 100,000 p.a.) I,ve never got round to online shopping with it but get lots of calls from people who refer to it. It's nice when they are able to say "i like that one on page xxx". You then have the opportunity to talk them into something bigger and better. I still think that online shopping is so faceless and floristry is so personal.
