Hi there,
just joined this a.m. and have been reading through the threads and there's some interesting stuff. I have just started a part-time business in the Bromley area; currently work as a conference organiser which I have been doing for 15 years and don't want to do it forever - developed a passion for floristry a few years back. Still studying, but I reckon there's so much to learn and keep up to date with that I'll still be studying when I'm 90! Bye for now, Tree |

Hi ,
I am from Bromley, Kent - a suburb of South East London. I see you specialise in Weddings. I did a short course recently - terrible tutor. A lot of pressure doing weddings I imagine? |

Hi Alice,
agree that experience is best! The day will come when I have to decide if I can afford to 'jump ship' from my current job to working in a florist shop (will still have a mortgage etc etc). Although I want to buy my own, I'd never do it without working in one full time first. |
