Hi Dee,
You have done very well for yourself, you must be very proud. It must be very handy to take baby George with you to work, it's not easy working around the children as I'm finding out myself now that I want to return to work. How long was the balloon course, sounds like a handy thing to do ? Eastbourne is not to far from me I dont think, just had a look at your website, what are the courses you do ? Very envious, well done you ![]() |

hi Belinda.
I think that was the only thing that kept me going with it all once we got started was the fact i could have baby here. when we took on the shop it was an absolute tip, and needed so much doing to it. there is still alot to do, but everyone comments on how nice it is now and bright and cheery. thankyou for your comments. i am very proud, and its been hard work, and seems to get harder and harder as im on my own. Hubby tries his hardest but there is only so much he can do. i do let him loose on ribboning with the funeral work as he can do that ok...hehe, but he has excellent customer service skills and can charm the knickers off a nun, so has all the old dears eating out of his palm!! the balloon course i done was a part time evening one which went over 3 months. it covered all sorts of balloon retail design like How to create perfect bouquets, How to create special effects with non- round balloons ,How to make balloon characters, How to merchandise your windows and store using balloons, balloon design such as arches, cloud nines, and also top table designs ising baby balloons and ribbon. it was interesting but alot of it i dont use anymore. as for the courses i do they range from introduction to flowers and designing table displays and baskets, to wedding and sympathy workshops. i dont go for the big obvious stuff, which would make me go out of pocket, but things like button holes, corsages and loose flower wreath, which they can do for themselves but allows poeple to see the hard work and time that goes into it. On big events like valentines, mothers day and xmas, ive got workshops going on where they can create some lovely themed designs, and for a minimal cost. |

Dee.....No..No..No
Phone Simon at F2F and he will give you a link to place on your front page. When someone clicks on it, they will go straight to your web page on Direct2Florist rather than to the front page. Then they can order from you and pay online and you will receive the order. That's the general idea. You should have had an email from f2f with the link, i did. |
