Hi all, just joined up, popped my head up to say hello to you all.

Been a florist for 6 years (finance manager before that, yawn) had my own shop for 3 years. We are in a rural area, a bit of a wedding destination so we are wedding flower specialists (obviously ). Looking forward to chatting with you all

Sort of, I did start out doing my own books but realised my time was better spent selling flowers! Totally different dealing with real money though! I worked for an IT co before and it was all electronic payments, large sums of money received direct into our bank account, this dealing with cash/credit cards lark is a total eye opener! And how are we stitched up for bank charges - high volume of low value transactions = lots of lolly for the bank manager, grrr!
