Hi, I'm Sooz, I just joined up yestarday. I'm starting NC Floristry lv2 in September and I can't wait. I think this forums great its already given me loads to think about and i hope i can learn much more from all the people here.

Welcome Sooz. Bit jealous that you are starting college. I absolutely loved my time studying! I finished last september and I now have my own shop so no more study for me until I get some staff.

thats amazing you have your own shop so soon after finishing college, how is it going? Are you enjoying it? Has it been really hard going dong it by yourself?

I'd always worked in a gift shop so knew I would like to have my own. I started looking for a shop half way through my first year at college and only completed on something ten weeks ago. It has been very hard work and I wasted a huge amount of money trying to buy a commercial premises but really that got me where I am now, I learnt a huge amount and I totally love what I am doing now. I do work six days a week (sometimes seven) and do everything myself but its no hardship at all. And I get two days off this week. What a treat!
