Ophs missed out Co.Down not that I haven't mean there manys a time. Do you have a shop or do you trade online. I'll trade online first then maybe a small shop later on if everything goes well with the web site.

There are 2 or 3 companies in NI doing hampers but none in Fermangh sort of a nich market here in the west.

One last thing I am fairly new to this if you haven't already guessed and I am shocked at the price of the relay service especially that some people haven't received many orders in return. If I did it the service would be free Ahh!! I feel a smart idea coming on gotta go and do a little more research.

Working for someone else but have a contract for wedding flowers with a wedding planner in another town. Had option of buying last employers business but had just become a granny and was doing all of office work as well as flowers and saw all the problems and decided not to go down that road work now 3 days and have my grandchild the other 3 days floristry started as a hobby 17years ago and I had never intended to go full time but ended up managing shop still at it still loving it no regrets.

Glad to have found you.I'm from Denmark and I was trying to find a florists forum cause I thougt it could be fun ,talking to other flower loving peopel.Couldn't find one in danish,so I hope its' allright that I am joining yours in the UK.I am a "blomster dekoratør".directly translatet a flower decorator.I dont know the name in english.I startet in 1976 as a pupil in a flower shop in Holte and after working in many shop over the years I now works in a shop in Helsinge.I have 5 wonderfull work mates.( kolleger) I have 3 children,18,22 ,24 years old.So now I have a lot of time to my self. Love it,hate it :-)I have a wonderfull garden and love gardening.I'm specially into dahlias but this year I wont buy a lot of new ones.I think! Its hard not to.Ihope you can read my "broken" english.Have a nice sunday.

hello nepanthes, welcome to the forum- you'll really like it here, everyones really friendly and we all speak our minds- its a great place to have a moan and get some good advice (although it sounds like you'll be the one giving the good advice with your experience!). You english is fantastic- better then my danish anyway!

Thank you Jo,I'm allready thrilled.Its a great forum and i'm sure that I will get a lot of ideas and inspiration.You can never have enough of that,can you I have spend a few hours yesterday and to day (monday is my day off) looking and reading.It seems that all the peopel here are nice,but why wouldent they be.
