candleabra attachments
Right have a last made a trip to country baskets i have a demo to do for an event company which i'm so excited about so have my idea all ready just got to put it together and then take a pic and email it her but these candleabras haven't a centre base they were all the same so went for a lovely silver one all i need now is for someone to help me how do i attach the oasis in the centre!!!!?????

I just did a short course on celebration flowers - one of the things we did was a candleabra. You put the oasis in a candle cup. Its a plastic cup that holds a small square of Oasis (1/2 a 1/3 block) that is taped in. The bottom of the cup has a 'spout' (if thats the right word) that fits into where the candle would normally go and secured with oasis fix (I think that's what its called, like blu tak). Is this what you meant?? Can post a pic 2morrow if it helps

nope wrong sort of thing this is a candleabra that has 6 spouts for the candles and there isn't one in the centre

thinking on the oasis bowl taped in the centre the only problem is you'd see underneath so thought i'd hide it with sisal!!!??? what do you reakon

Yes, that'd work, something along those lines, or moss or sommat like that.

Or use an oasis sphere and cover it with flowers. Depends how much they're paying I suppose!

Be a bit of a sod to deliver though wouldn't it, with the flowers attached.

The cup is really small - mine was hidden with foliage. How would you secure the sisal? Glue?

well just wrap the sisal under the pot then tape into the top of the stand will go have a go then when my mum comes will try and take some pics in stages and if anyone can help me do it an easier way that'd be great cause if i get the job then i have 30 of the buggers to do!!! and think i could part do them in the pot then keep it all sep and attach at the venue then add in the finishing touches
