Hi all

wondering if anyone can help been asked to do bridal flowers for new yrs eve!!!! Can anyone advise on the dealeo with wholesalers and avaliablity at this time of yr!!!!! and has anyone had any experience making a 1940's style bouquet?

JF did 1930 - 40 I think....did send her a piccie of my grandparents wedding, she'll be the one to ask......

lots of flowing asparagus fern and big bloom carnations...........job done

The dutch markets open back up on the 29th dec according to my supplier so you should be able to get flower. Both my grandparents got married in the 40's, one had a huge shower of red car and asparagus fern and the other had a shower of tulips and anemones.

If it had to be historically accurate you'll need to wire it through a moss ball.

Asparagus plumosus, Zantedeschia aethiopica, Dianthus caryophyllus.

Thanks for all ur help.....i'm not sure how to town this lady wants to go with the 40's theme.....as in wiring onto a moss ball jake but sounds like fun.....i'll give joe flo a call too.

We are doing a New Year's Eve wedding, we must be mad!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Our dutchmen are coming Monday and Tuesday after Xmas. I need callas and have been assured I will get them but know I will be sweating until the delivery turns up.
