Yes Little Pettle...Look inside your mind..it's all in there!
Seriously now..think of what you would like yourself and you will automatically do it well and you will be proud of yourself when it sells. If you copy someone else's ideas, you will never be able to say "that's one of mine!"
You've got to get that creative hat on. There is so much more satisfaction in designing something yourself and hearing someone say "that's really nice, can I have one?" Just start with something really simple. Photograph it, then sit and look at it and think how you can improve on it, one step at a time. Each step is another arrangement, another design. Eventually you will have hundreds of them that you can truly call your own. Only then will you start to enjoy this job!

in thing

Hi little pettal, when I first started,I was thrown literally in the deep end, I looked at a design in a florist book, kind of copied the shape with foliage, then did my own thing. Once you've made a few you will gain more confidence. Then Bob's yer uncle, you will be away. If you get stuck, go for a wee or something, when you come back, you will be able to see what the arrangement lacks. It worked for me, hope it will for you.Try to do a design using a minimal amount of flowers, that is good practise for your creative design.
