Ok maybe a silly question but how do you spray the foam when you've finished, doesn't it go all over the flowers? And where did you get the stemtack and what else can you use it for? Phew nough ??'s for now

I got some from my sundries guys but I don't think I used it properly because I ended up getting everything sticky. Now when I use a holder I wire the flowers in and use a dot of floral glue where the stem meets the foam. It works fine. I much prefer a holder as I can leave it overnight without worrying. When I used to just wire I had nightmares that I would come in to be greeted by dying flowers

Holders for the fresh, unless it's a large shower. then half and half.
Fully wired for all the silks, just prefer to work that way.
Used to wire absolutely everything, so much easier these days

Your wholesaler should be able to get hold of it.

You just need to find spaces between the flower stems (very gently) and spray the foam with the can as close as you can get it. it should run down the flower stems and into the foam and this is where you want it to go.

You can practice with an old piece of oasis and some old flowers. leave for an hour or so and see the difference.

Ah I see where I went wrong, instead if running down the flower stems it ran down my fingers and arms! If only I had known you then fly - you could have saved a very "sticky" situation.
