Hey,
I've never heard back from them! Quite a sad story actually... the young lad was at a party and for some reason was hanging out the window, fell out and died  Thats awful Has left behind a young baby and girlfriend. There was going to be an investigation into his death so I'm not sure whats going on. xx

That is really sad. I adore funeral work but the downside is the sadness. I find it so hard to be "professional" with the grieving family when all I really want to do is give them a hug. When I'm making the flowers up I just hope that they will give some solace to them on what must be an awful day.

Last year we had quite a few teenagers dying and the grief of their families was awful.
I gave them a hug anyway It may not have been professional, but I did it as a Mum and another human being to another.

Hi All,
I have had the nicest lady working part-time for me for 3 years. Her son got killed in a car accident last year (friday 13th). 1 yrs mass was last night, so so sad. He was only 18 On the evening it happened We got so many phone calls from friends and family ringing to tell us. Its a bit of a blur really. But I'll NEVER forget the phone call I got in the morning from (my friend) the mother, as long as I live.....I never imagined in a million years, that she would ever have ro ring me for flowers for her sons funeral...So unreal. Still is...Soooo unfair... It took 6-9month to stop crying about it every time I thought about it.. The mother is coping, getting on with life. Has 2 daughters 9/16yrs old. She has to be strong for the girls... The father is not doing so well. In his spech last night, "he wanted us all to know how much he missed his soon. And to his girls "I love you so much, you are the reason I get up in the morning"...ohhh my god....Our job can be soooo hard and sad. Never though of that when I went into floristry.. On the other hand, there is nothing more wonderfull getting an order for a new born baby.... Flower Palace
