Very nice Abi

i had some glittered roses from my dutchman for christmas. they have them sprayed very finely ,at the auction house .i think .florry

GLITTER yyyyeeeeaaaahhh

Sometime last year, our fantastic boss bought from one of the wholesalers,one pot of glue and one pot of glitter. By christmas we had several pots of glue and all shades of glitter. We had to stop ourselves from putting glitter on the funeral peices!!!!!!!! if you stopped moving for 10 seconds, you were glittered!!!

It`s a water based glue that sprays onto the flowers and dries clear and you shake the glitter onto the petals (just like being back at pre-school). Not sure if this is what your looking for, but we have such fun using it!!! Reminds me, may dig it out tomorrow and have a play

hi , you can get glue spray and glitter to poof on the roses from our wholesalers. it dose not harm any flowers and it is from holland, but if you spray them with water too much it dose run a little. the gas sprays do harm the roses if you put too much on ( yes went a little mad once !)

Or you can half fill bucket with water sprinkle in glitter and dip roses although this is very time consumming we used a lot of glitter in weddings and used both spray glitter from oasis spray glue then glitter or just spray with water then glitter

I have a magazine somewhere in the store that has glittered roses. It didn't use glitter spray as the glitter was very dense... Ill see if I can find it at some point today and let you know what it says

Thanx guys for all your ideas. Went to oasis stand at SFE and she suggested - wait for it - use their glue tack to spray roses, then roll each rose onto a piece of paper on which glitter had been laid. I explained how many roses and how thick the bride wanted the glitter and she just sort of hmmm'd. Thankfully have just heard bride and groom no longer speaking - really did not want to do that job in the height of summer. Some you win, some you lose. I know it was a lot of money but can't help thinking profit margin very low for man hours involved with all the flaffing - and you just KNOW she would have complained!

Last Christmas a bride wanted us to glitter the ivy in her bouquet. The boss was not too happy about it but we were all pleased when it turned out really well. It was much nicer than the bling bling roses that you see. We used the glitter oasis spray.
