I had to glitter roses for a bride last Christmas, so I used oasis design spray (she wanted a gold glitter). My bride only wanted a gentle sprinking of glitter so this was perfect. I guess you could give it a second spray to make it a heavier glitter. It didn't harm the roses at all. Good luck with the wedding.

God , sounds hideously excessive. Only used the oasis glitter in gold and then only lightly. Advise hefty additional charge to cover the hasstle and extra face masks you'll need.

Hi Abi Claires Accessories do a glitter body spray that we use (doesn't whiff as much as the oasis stuff) It is subtle so you may have to give a couple of coats, would see if you can persuade her to have this, too much hassle glueing and dipping for me. There's a couple of Claires in city centre!

spotted this on an sum1's site (american i think) http://store.goldenroseflowers.com/servlet/Detail?no=2
just a guess, but I would say they have sprayed with the glue over the top and dipped the heads into glitter,, then maybe used the glitter spray to dust over the rest of the rose, The build up of glitter on the tops of the rose could only have been done by dipping. Could be worth emailing the shop and asking what they use. |

We used to glitter alot of things at christmas ourselves because to buy them pre-glittered it was so much more expensive. Its very easy, we either used a body glitter as you know that it is ok for skin so is ok for flowers, or we'd spray them and sprinkle the fine glitter on(as someones mentioned above). We used the glitter that was ment for personalised balloons. You'll be fine.Good luck.
