Wedding Flowers
A Bride to be asked me last night what the most popular wedding flower was.
I immediately said roses, because by far the most popular flower in my wedding bouquets is a rose. The favourite roses of my brides are, Vendela and Passion.
The next favourite flower for wedding bouquets is the Calla Lily. Brides like the white best followed by pink and burgundy. The favourite filler is Freesia.
What do other florists find their brides like best?

Roses definately. Lots of Vendella and Sweet Avalanche this year. Hydrangea has been popular too, but I think my preferences might have come into that hehehehe.

You are right Rosa, I adore Vendella so any bride wearing ivory, gold, or any of the off/white shades gets shown Vendella first

Yes there has been some really interesting roses mentioned on this site that I can't wait to try. What I have noticed with my brides that there seems to be a move towards shower bouquets. Last year I only did 2 showers the rest where all hand-ties. this year it's ratio is about 1 shower boquet to every 2 hand-ties. The shower is creaping up. (not for me personally - like good old queen bess, I have a bath once a year - whether I need it or not lol)

wow lexy I am going to order some of them, they sound scrummptious. I just adore pink and if they smell nice too. Watch out Brides - I'll be pushing twofaces at you! hmmmmmm that didn't come out right
