Creative use for bamboo canes?
I've hacked back a rampant bamboo and now have a mountain of slender olive green canes. Surely there must be something creative I can do with them? Any ideas?

I'm sure you could do some interesting arrangements with them. What about "caging" an arrangement with them. You could do a sort of Indian tent with raffia binding the top. Inside the "tent" could be a limited arrangement, continental style. Am I making any sense at all? I do ramble

How much have you got?

You could weave them and try to anchor them inside your window then attach some gerbera or something in vials to hang off of it. maybe try to use oranges or other really bright colours for bonfire night.

I have no idea how you would anchor it though so don't ask

Hey Rosa, just posted a pic on the gallery, may give you an idea for using your bamboo. That one is in fresh but have replicated it in artificial and its selling very well here.
