parallel design assessment
Hi,
After passing my last assessment with flying colours (yee ha!) I'm now under pressure to maintain the standard for the next one! I am doing a parallel arrangement & have thought about using just white flowers, tulips, stocks, gerberas (if I can get white?) maybe roses... Has anyone used just white flowers in this kind of design and how did it look? Can you suggest any other flowers or colour combinations that look good. I have to use 3 groups of flowers with varied texture and shape. Thank you in anticipation!! x |

Here's quite a simple 'parallel' design that won some points
http://www.gardencentral.org/ncafgc/...esignsfontnob/ 'White' probably gives you a larger range of shape/texture/size etc than any other colour, so you really are spoilt for choice. Go on then..lets see you do something very wild and wonderful...think of something that no one else would dare to do,.. then post a pic on here for all of us! I'll even try and talk admin into giving you some free money for you efforts. |

thank you
Thank you for your encouragement and for the picture link, I can use those as my research for current trends! We are restricted to keep within a certain criteria but I will do my best to create a design with impact!
Thanks again x |

gothic?
Going down a bit of a gothic route with the assignement that accompanies my parallel arrangement, it will be staged in a gothic conservatory (I think!) any ideas how I can put a tiny bit of gothic into the design????
