I think any daff would do, however I would ask what the colour scheme, overall look is as a standard daff can be really bright, and on photos can just look like a yellow/orangey blob against a wedding suit.
There is a variety of daff called "irene copeland" i think which is more like a peony and gives an excellent main flowers with a few smaller daffs around it (nice one is called "bridal crown") There are loads of variations on the standard daff - it might be nice to try something a bit different, but still in keeping with the welsh theme?? I love daffs ![]() |

Hello fly2hi,
I guess as you aren't in wales it would have to be the traditional big daffodil, for st davids day we did make a few narcissi buttonholes but they aren't the traditional flower everyone would look at and think "wales". leave a card with your bride and groom on their wedding day telling them- "llongyfarchiadau ar eich dydd priodas" which I promise you means congratulations on your wedding day! Hwyl fawr! (bye) Jo |

Thank you Kelly & Jo for your prompt replies. I knew i could count on you girls!
Not that i'm rushing or anything, just have to do them like....now! I've used Sol'd'or for the little girls posy and thought about using the same for the b/holes, but then thought they may not be 'macho' enough for a Welshman. So i'll probably go for the dutch master or maybe a combination for a little effect. Other flowers bare just lots of white Cala, so nothing to clash with. Now Jo...as to me attempting to rewrite something in Welsh! I have enough trouble in English. Is there a Welsh spell checker? |
