Funeral - Tied Sheaf
Hi,
Have another exam Thursday on the above. Can you all tell me what you use as a base for them, I used Leatherleaf when I practiced but I felt it needed something stronger? Belinda |

i use flat pine, but i have also used large palm leaves and cineraria eucalyptus, i hate doing them, but i would say leather leaf is definately not strong enough, good luck

Thankyou
I did think about the large palm, I'll take a look Wednesday and see what I can find.
I hate doing them too, very worried about it as I failed the first time so this is me attempting it again Belinda |

Have to agree with that. Wouldn't use leather unless it was a really small delicate sheaf e.g. mxd freesia etc. Otherwise i'd say anything that does the job and looks right, which is the ultimate test. Baby blue euco works well, but the colour doesn't always go with the flowers.
