Am I the only florist who hates wedding work? I'm a perfectionist when it comes to flowers, and weddings just send me over the edge its such a massive resposibility and the brides are so fussy now, every wedding i've ever done the bride has been over the moon with my work i've had so many thank you cards, chocolates, bottles of wine etc but still after all these years my poor husband waits while I do the wedding flowers hardly daring to look in my direction because if he does I say "do you think it looks ok? I don't like it, its not going right" and before you know it even though it was perfect i've taken it to bits and i'm mumbling to myself about how I thought it was ok but I could tell by his face (even though I only gave him half a second to reply) that he didn't like it, at this stage there has on occasion even been tears!!

Now I may be morbid but give me any type of funeral work and i'm happy!

no I love wedding work, it's my favourite thing. I love the fact that everyone will see your work and I love it that each wedding is amazing advertising for the shop. and rach yes i love the ones that just give you a colour scheme and then leave you to it

Think he is evading an answer but I'm bit like Elaine I do like wedding work love the end result and the advertising and have so many thanks similar to yourself but I do get stressed way over the top and when I'm finished I think what did I get into a state like that for. Yes maybe I'm morbid to but just love funeral work and get a great buzz especially a big funeral with lots of based and different tributes. Already we have 1 order in for 30 rings for easter sat and another number to be confirmed but at moment 30 to 35 and really looking forward to that just over half of them greened up and stacked in crates.
