i just wanted to say thank you to everyone that helped me with advice for my Nan's funeral flowers, especially you Ole Wise One Fly. I have posted some pictures in the gallery for you to see if you like. I made the Guinness and the coffin spray myself and 2 friends from college helped with the others. I know you pros will probably be able to pick holes in them (professional critisism gratefully received) but I was delighted with the outcome and think I would have made Nan proud.

it doesnt matter what any of us say as long as you are happy with what you done and your nan loved her flowers well done

I did a 'pint of Guiness' last year for a friend. he wasn't too worried about it being perfect, just something to add a personal touch to the funeral. It took a bit of time to do and as much as someone says 'don't worry too much' you still want it to look good.
On reflection, as much as i hate to admit it, you have done a better job than i did, so i don't think you will have too many problems. Well done!

hello frizzytwig, thanks for posting your work in the gallery. It doesn't matter what "us pros" think of your work, they are special to you because you made them for your nan so you did the best you possibly could and she would have loved them because you'd gone to so much trouble to make them. I think you did a really good job, if thats what you and your friends made whilst still in college- you're all going to make fine florists. Well done,

Hi Frizzytwig, Your tributes were a FANTASTIC effort. Its very hard making arrangements for someone that you have known. Loved your feature flowers on the NAN letters. WELL DONE

just looked at the photos and from our manager with 18 years experience comments were
Base work needed to be more lined on lettering
on the heart the spray off was to large in comparison for the heart
but they were still very good

Well done, I have just had a look at your designs & I think you have done a fantastic job. Your Nan would be very proud of you & so am I, although I don't know you I followed your posts & thought of you.

It is very difficult to do funeral designs for people we know & love, you did a sterling job.

YCF critcism accepted, next time I do based work I will know where I went wrong, you have to learn by mistakes eh. I left my friends Sally and Lisa with creative license on the sprays, think they did a great job, especially on the NAN, Lisa did the heart but we always laugh cos she just can't keep things small bless her.
